Masters of Commerce
A Master of Commerce is a postgraduate degree particularly aimed at students who want to become experts in the fields of banking and finance. The course is of two-year duration with four semesters and demands minimum eligibility of 45% aggregate in B.Com (Professional) or B.Com (Honors) or 50% aggregate in BBS or BBA or equivalent from a recognized university. Our postgraduate degree in Commerce is designed with the syllabus of Calicut University and ensures that aspiring students will be equipped with managerial skills as well as build competence in their specialized area of business studies. Along with an optimized syllabus, the students who undertake an M.Com will also submit a final year project guided by faculty supervisors that encourage their research and practical knowledge. The department has also inculcated industry visits, field trips, and talks by professional business magnates so as to give more practical exposure to the students about the subject. A student with an M.Com will have an edge over others in the fields of Accountancy, Tax Consultancy, Banking, Lecturing, Chartered Accountancy, Human Resource Development, etc.
