The PG Department of English, Naipunnya Institute of Management and Information Technology organized a One-day National Conference  on “Regional Modernities: Epistemological Interventions vis-à-vis Cultural Praxes” on 27 February 2023. The Resource Person for the Confe rence  was Dr. Merin Simi Raj, Associate Professor at Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, IIT Madras. The inaugural session of the seminar commenced at Nivedika (Main Block Seminar Hall) at 10 AM. Rev. Dr. Fr. Paulachan K. J., Principal and Executive Director of NIMIT presided over the session. inaugurated the session. Mr. Philip P.J., Associate Professor, Department of English gave felicitation. Dr. Anju V. R., Assistant Professor, Department of English proposed the Vote of Thanks. Scholars, teachers and students of different colleges, Management team members, Heads of various departments, Librarian of NIMIT attended the session. Inaugural session came to an end at 10.30 AM followed by a
tea break.
