Facilities provided for Differently abled students

Our teachers give special care and attention to students with disabilities. Our institution provides facilities like wheelchair ramps, elevators and wheelchairs in order to make our classrooms and facilities more accessible to our community. The IT department of NIMIT has successfully installed Braille software in all our teaching systems to assist visually impaired students. The library is equipped with audio CDs and on-call help for students who have hearing impairments. The College provides scribes as well as assistance for differently abled students during their examinations. Disabiled-friendly restrooms have been constructed on campus and the faculty is trained to provide assistance to any student at any given time. Naipunnya campus is Divangajan friendly and caters to the needs of all students with physical disabilities.  Disability friendly entrance ramps and bathrooms are available on campus.
