World Environment Day celebration of the academic year was organised on June 5th by NSS in collaboration with the Bhoomitrasena Club. In the forenoon session a formal meeting was conducted which was presided over by Rev. Fr. Dr. Paulachan K. J., Principal and Executive Director, NIMIT . Mr. P. C. CEO, Aqoza Technologies Pvt. Ltd., management team members, NSS Programme Officers, Bhoomitrasena Club coordinators and NSS volunteers were present in the meeting. In the forenoon session students from different departments along with the programme coordinators visited various wards in Koratty and Karukutty panchayats and planted saplings in selected houses. They distributed organic vegetables to the residents.
