Paper Bag Day is celebrated on 12 July to spread awareness on using paper bags instead of plastic bags to reduce plastic pollution. As part of Paper Bag Day, Naipunnya Institute of Management and Information Technology NSS team visited a paper bag production industry in Mekkad and distributed paper bags in their own homespace.

As part of Paper Bag Day on 12/7/2021 Naipunnya Institute of Management and Information Technology NSS team has visited a paper bag production house and spend some time with them to learn the paper bag production method. They collected paper bags from there and distributed in the neighborhood.
