NSS and Women Cell of Naipunnya Institute of Matechnolognd Information technology is celebrate National Doctors’ Day on July 1st as a tribute to Doctors for their untiring service during the pandemic.

As part of the National Doctors’ Day on 01.07.2021, the NSS and women cell of Naipunnya Institute of Management and Information Technology (NIMIT), Pongam, celebrated the day by distributing sweets to all the doctors and staff at Apollo Hospital, Karukutty and LF Hospital, Angamaly at 10:00 AM . Some of the doctors were selected from various departments and was appreciated for their service rendered during the pandemic. A token of gratitude was shown to the doctors with a memento, an acknowledgement certificate. At 3.00 pm a webinar was conducted which covered the topics: "Healthy food habits" and "Challenges encountered During the Pandemic". The session started with a welcome note by Ms. Thesna Mariya Shaiju (NSS Volunteer) which was followed by a message delivered by Rev. Fr. Dr. Paulachan KJ on the services provided by the Doctors to the society. The resource persons of the day was Dr. Joesph Thomas (Medical Officer, Govt.Ayurveda Dispensary, Paipra) and Dr. Laya Parameswar (Asst. Insurance Medical Officer, ESI (C.D), Hospital Mulamkunnathakavu). It was an interactive session that stressed on the importance of cultivating healthy food habits in the present times and also laid out the challenges posed by the Covid 19 pandemic. The session has around 82 participants and it concluded by 5:00 PM with the vote of thanks by Ms. Zeba Haneen (Women Cell Representative).
