Dr Veena Vijaya started her career as Assistant Professor of English at the Faculty of Language Studies, Arab Open University KSA in 2009. She performed various roles such as Vice Dean, Female Faculty Program Coordinator, and Tutor for various Linguistics and Literature courses. She was the Course Chair for EL230: American Literature and A 335 Literature in Transition. She also worked as External Examiner / subject expert reviewer to many universities including Open University UK. She has published scholarly papers in international journals. She is the author of the book The Fictional World of Toni Morrison.
