B.Sc. Hotel Management and Catering Science
The program aims to provide students with a strong base of knowledge, skills, and attitudes required for employability and leadership roles in hospitality and restaurant operations, management, and entrepreneurship. BSc. in Hotel Management and Catering Science is a three-year full-time course divided into six semesters. The course demands minimum eligibility of 10+2 from a recognized board or equivalent. The course is outlined in such a way that students will gain in-depth knowledge and skills about food Production, food and beverage service, front office, accommodation operations, and management studies. The main objective of the course is to develop among students the attitudes, contextual knowledge, and appropriate technique necessary to demonstrate, apply and commit to the specific needs of the hospitality industry with due consideration of health, safety, cultural, societal, legal, and environment. The course also prepares students with the research acumen necessary to identify and solve business problems in the hospitality and management industry through experiential course-based study.
