National Visit

Chalo Mumbai: Exposure Visit to Social Work Institutions – 04-11-2025 to 12-11-2025
Organized as an educational exposure programme, “Chalo Mumbai” provided students with an opportunity to gain practical insights into professional social work practice across diverse settings. The study tour included visits to the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Chaithanya Institute of Mental Health, and Navajeevan NGO, where students were exposed to various intervention models, mental health services, and community-based initiatives.

The programme also included experiential components such as Matheran Hill Station and Mumbai Darshan, enabling students to understand the socio-cultural context of urban and semi-urban communities. Conducted from 4th to 12th November 2025, the tour covered Mumbai and Pune, offering a blend of academic learning and field exposure, thereby enriching students’ understanding of social work practice in diverse environments.
