MOOC / SWAYAM / NPTEL Course Requirement
- For Students
Every student shall successfully complete at least one 3-credit Postgraduate level MOOC course in each semester offered through the SWAYAM / NPTEL platform during the MBA programme, with the prior approval from the Programme Coordinator / Head of the Department.
The selected MOOC course should be relevant to the student’s specialization area or General Management subjects. The successful completion certificate and grade transcript obtained from the MOOC platform shall be submitted to the institution before the submission of internal assessment marks of each Semester.
The marks/grade obtained in the MOOC course shall be considered as part of the internal assessment component of the programme.
Students shall register for the course through the official portals of **SWAYAM / NPTEL and complete all assignments, examinations, and certification requirements. - For Faculty Members
Faculty members are also encouraged to successfully complete at least one 3-credit Postgraduate level MOOC course in each academic year through SWAYAM / NPTEL platforms.
The selection of courses should be based on Training Need Identification (TNI) and aligned with the faculty member’s teaching domain, research area, or emerging technologies.
Completion of such courses will contribute to:
1. Faculty development and upskilling
2. Improved teaching-learning practices
3. Academic and research enrichment
Faculty members shall submit the course completion certificate to the Department / IQAC for documentation and academic records.
