Note: The eligibility for admission is subject to change according to the university rules and regulations

Eligibility : A Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline #recognized by the University of Calicut with a minimum of 50% marks/equivalent grade. Bachelor’s Degree includes other four year degree programmes like LLB, B. Tech also.

Tie Break: 

Eligibility : Any candidate who has passed B.Com or BBA (earlier BBS) degree of University of Calicut or recognized B.Com, BBA, BBM or BBS degree of any other University or Institutes in any states, with minimum of 45% aggregate marks or equivalent overall CGPA is eligible for admission to the M.Com programme. OBC/OEC candidates are eligible for relaxation up to 5%.SC/ST candidates need to get a pass”. In case of B.Com(Honours) and B.Com(Professional) and BBA(Honours), the minimum eligibility for admission is a minimum of 50% aggregate marks or equivalent overall CGPA , for all categories of students.

Tie Break:

Eligibility : Any degree of the University of Calicut (including degree programmes of the SDE/Open Degree programme of SDE, University of Calicut) or that of any other University or Institute or Institution recognized by the UGC or AICTE. Programmes of other Universities or Institutions shall be in 10+2+3 pattern (or 10+2+4) under regular stream or distance education stream, recognized by DEC/UGC. In all the cases, the student should have passed the Bachelor Degree examination with not less than 50% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate, including the marks of languages, if any (without approximation, that is, 49.9999% is not eligible since it is less than 50%). SEBC and SC/ST students are allowed relaxation in marks as per rules (i.e., 5% relaxation for SEBC & Other Eligible Communities and a mere pass for SC/ST/PwD). Applicant must obtain a valid score in any one of the following Management Aptitude Tests: a) IIM-CAT, November 2025 only b) KMAT conducted by CEE, Govt. of Kerala, 2026 only c) CMAT of AICTE 2026 only Two years work experience is required for an MBA evening programme in addition to the Page 1 of 10 other requirements. In the absence of an adequate number of applicants with two years experience, others would also be considered. Candidates awaiting their final semester degree results can also apply. However, all such candidates should submit their original Final Mark List/Consolidated Grade Card and Provisional Certificate to prove the eligibility on or before the closing date of admission fixed by the University/Admission Supervisory Committee, Thiruvananthapuram from time to time.

Eligibility : BA English Language & Literature/BA English & History/BA Functional English/ BA English with Islamic History or BA/BSc (excluding alternative pattern) Degree with English as Common Course (Part I), of this University or an equivalent degree, with at least 45% aggregate marks or equivalent overall CGPA. OBC/OEC candidates are eligible to relaxation up to 5%. SC/ST candidates need only to get a pass.

For Non-BA (English) category candidates applying for M A English Language & Literature, admission will be based on an Entrance Test. A candidate should score at least 50% marks in the Entrance Test for admission in this category. Admission of such candidates will be to the one seat reserved (for each MA English Language & Literature programme) in the affiliated colleges of the University and this seat will be set apart from the General Quota.

Eligibility : The candidate should have secured at least 55% aggregate marks or equivalent overall CGPA in BSc. (Computer Science or Information Technology or Electronics or Physics or Mathematics or Statistics or Chemistry) or BCA/ B.Voc in Software Technology/ B.Voc in Software Development/ BVoc Data Science, BVoc Mathematics and AI/ BVoc IT, of this University or an equivalent degree, OR at least 55% aggregate marks or equivalent overall CGPA in B.Tech/BE (Computer Science or Information Technology or Electronics or Electronics and Telecommunication or Electronics and Communication) recognized by this University. OBC/OEC candidates are eligible to relaxation up to 5%. SC/ST candidates need only to get a pass.
