World Environment Day was celebrated at Naipunnya Institute of Management and Technology (NIMIT), Pongam on 07.06.2021.

The celebration started with Mr.Tony VM, NSS Programme Officer welcoming the gathering. Rev. Fr. Dr. Paulachan K. J delivered the opening address and Mr. P. C Biju, current president of Koratty Grama Panchayath inaugurated the function by planting saplings in and around the college campus. Through this initiative, students and faculty reckoned with the importance of planting trees as well as caring for nature. The event saw participation by representatives of the management team, non-teaching faculty,  members of the staff, and students.

The event was concluded by 11.00 am and a sincere vote of thanks was given by Ms. Siji Jose, Coordinator of Bhoomitrasena Club.
