Screen Printing Workshop – Skill Enhancement Initiative -12-03-2025

The Department of Fashion Designing, Naipunnya Institute of Management and Information Technology (Autonomous), organized a Screen-Printing Workshop on 12 March 2025 from 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Navarang Auditorium.

The programme was inaugurated by Rev. Fr. Dr. Paulachan KJ, Principal, who emphasized the significance of experiential learning and skill enhancement in creative disciplines. The workshop session was conducted by Megha A, Assistant Professor, Department of Fashion Designing, who guided participants through the fundamentals and practical applications of screen-printing techniques.

Fabric Painting Workshop – 06/03/2026

The Department of Fashion Designing at Naipunnya Institute of Management and Information Technology (Autonomous) organized a Fabric Painting Workshop for fashion designing students on 06 March 2026 at the FD Block. The session was led by Ms. Alakananda, who introduced students to creative fabric painting techniques and guided them through practical demonstrations.

The workshop focused on developing students’ skills in textile surface design, colour application, and design transfer techniques. Through hands-on practice, students explored innovative ways to express their creativity on fabric. The session was highly interactive and provided valuable exposure to artistic fabric decoration methods.

The workshop served as an inspiring platform for students to enhance their creativity and   practical design skills in the field of fashion and textile art.

Fashion Styling Workshop – 11/03/2026

The Department of Fashion Designing at Naipunnya Institute of Management and Information Technology (Autonomous) organized a Styling Workshop for fashion designing students on 11 March 2026 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the FD Block.

The session was led by Ms. Dhanya P, Fashion Stylist and Assistant Professor, St. Teresa’s College, Ernakulam, who shared valuable insights on personal styling, fashion coordination, and the importance of creating a unique style identity. Through interactive discussions and practical tips, students learned techniques to enhance their personal style and understand current fashion trends.

The workshop provided students with an opportunity to gain practical knowledge in fashion styling, accessorizing, and visual presentation, helping them develop confidence and creativity in the field of fashion.
