Yoga is the ultimate act of harmony between one’s physical existence and spiritual well-being. It is a set of physical, mental and spiritual practices or disciplines which has its roots in India. There is an overwhelming interest in Yoga these days as it enhances body fitness and health as well as contributes to the nourishment of soul.

Realising the impact of Yoga among youth and its importance in higher education sector, the Physical Education Department of Naipunnya,  in association with Athma Yoga Academy, Vytilla initiates a Yoga Teachers Training Course (TTC) from 1st July 2021.  It is a 200 hour programme, certified by Yoga Alliance International (YAI), the first International Yoga Certification Centre in India. After successful completion of the training programme, the International Yoga Teachers Training Certificate will be awarded. YAI has a wide network and affiliated centres all over the world. The programme duration is six months and will be conducted on every Saturdays. Naipunnya has a pool of experienced and qualified masters in practice and philosophy of Yoga. The training programme provides an in depth knowledge of yoga practices and its  the pedagogy.

Duration                   :           6 Months

Qualification            :           Plus 2

Class Time                 :           On Satudays 9.30 a.m. to 3.30 p.m.

(Theory & Practical)

Fees                            :           Rs 20,000/- for outsiders

Rs 15,000/- for Staff and Students of Naipunnya.

Examinations           :           3 Theory Papers and 1 Practical
