Ms. Alakananda is a passionate and creative fashion professional with a strong academic background and practical industry experience. She holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Fashion Designing, which have equipped her with a solid understanding of design principles, fashion sketching, and fashion trends. With a year of experience as a freelance fashion stylist, she has a keen eye for detail and a flair for creating innovative looks tailored to individual styles. Her interests in designing, styling, creative thinking, and innovation make her a valuable contributor to the fashion field. She has also worked on innovative projects such as exploring the use of banana fibre in home décor items and developing creative tangram puzzle concepts for kidswear. In addition, she has actively participated in various fashion shows, showcasing her styling and design abilities. She is currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Naipunnya College, where she brings her knowledge, passion, and creativity into the classroom, inspiring the next generation of fashion professionals.
