The Department of Computer Science has been organizing a yearly national conference for the past seven years. This year, the theme for the event was “Emerging Trends in Cloud Computing”.  The keynote address was given by Dr. Krishna Prasad K, Associate Professor and Research Coordinator, College of Computer Science & Information Technology at Srinivas University, Mangaluru. The session was chaired by Dr. Sarika S, Assistant Professor, NIMIT. There were 11 papers presented at the conference which were published after the conference proceedings. Students from the Department of Computer Science from NIMIT were also given the opportunity to present technical papers during the conference as part of the students’ research initiative.
