Naipunnya Institute of Management and Information Technology hosted a series of management festivals, including Resonance, Chutney Soca, Phoenix, and Zenorix 4.0. These events were student-driven and attracted participants from colleges across Kerala. Notably, professional artists were invited, and diverse competitions engaged Plus two and degree students. The E.D. Club of the Commerce Dept. organized the Onam Market, an earn-while- learning initiative, where students received commissions for their services. The initiative “Flea Up” was an exhibition cum sale for fundraising for Palliative Care, organized by private individuals in collaboration with Rotary Club Angamaly. The PG department of commerce actively supported this cause, contributing students and alumni like Ms. Elsa.P.G. The Department of Commerce offered free PSC coaching and facilitated combined study for job aspirants, with extended library hours. Additionally, an Extension Programme,Auxilium Obsedere (Aid to Invest), was organized with Karukutty Grama Panchayat, aiming to raise awareness about investment opportunities.Other initiatives included the PG Department of English’s visit to Koratty Grama Panchayat LP school, providing study kits for lower primary students. The Department of Hotel Management conducted experiential training for Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies, featuring role-playing exercises and formal dining simulations. The Computer Science Department extension program focused on e-literacy, partnering with Koratty Grama Panchayat to educate people on e-governance services.The Department of Hotel Management’s national-level fest, Phoenix 2023, showcased student expertise in hospitality management, drawing participants from eight institutions nationwide. Overall,Naipunnya Institute was actively engaged in diverse initiatives, blending academics, social responsibility, and skill development.
