The Department of Computer Science is organizing the Extension Programme E-Assist in association with Koratty Grama Panchayat .The objective of the mission is to provide E-Literacy to the people at Koratty Grama Panchayath about the e-governance services provided by panchayat,village,KSEB and health. It aims at teaching atleast one person in every house to make them understand about the advantages of technology. The students at NIMIT,Pongam will be assisting the people at Koratty Panchayat to give awareness for the e-governance services.The inauguartion will be held on 01-07-2922 at 10.30am followed by a training session.Prof(Dr.).Jiju P Alex,Kerala State Planning Board member will be inaugurating the session. A training session for the students at Naipunnya college is also arranged on the same day. The experts from different fields will handle the training sessions.
