In order to help the students on their professional/corporate/work carrer, the Department of Commerce at NIMIT College Pongam is conducting a one-hour session on October 1 st , 2022 for B.Com. Computer Application students. The session is going to be presented by Ms. Sherine Greig, Founder and former director Of Elm Institute of Business Studies, Senior Business Analyst:Shell India. The event will be conducted through Google meet at 9.45 am. The subject we are going to discuss through this session is “Campus to Corporate- The most rewarding and demanding career choices”.

The objective of the session is to equip students for the most demanding and dignified profession; thus making the corporate entry easier. This session will also provide students opportuity to develop their interpersonal, critical thinking and decision making skills which are demanded by organizations .In addition, the diversity of students gives them an understanding of various cultures and prepares them for a career in organizations with a diversity of employees. This is going to be the second event as a part of industry interaction during this academic year. We are hoping that this session will give them an idea of business analysis.  Hope it will pave the way for many more such sessions.
